Maintenance Policy
-
We
will maintain a current backup copy of your website.
-
Maintenance
is defined as current content of a website. It is
NOT intended to be used as a redesign of the
complete website.
-
Updates
are normally completed within 24 hours after we
receive notification of an update request (excluding
weekends and holidays). Update requests
received after 3pm CT, will be completed the next
business day.
-
If
the client is on an hourly contract, billing will be
made for any hours charged and invoiced on or about
the 15th of the month. Hourly maintenance contracts
will incur a minimum of one-half hour. If no
maintenance is requested, no monthly charges will be
incurred.
-
We
make every effort to make accurate changes, but it
is the ultimate responsibility of the client to
verify, and inform us of inaccuracies. There is no
charge for additional changes if we are at fault on
the original update. If a change is required to to
an error in the clients part, our normal hourly rate
will apply.
-
At
our discretion, we will determine if an update is
considered an update or new design. If it is
determined to be a new design, changes will be
charged at our hourly design rate.
-
Content
required for an update must be provided to us by (1)
e-mail, in .txt or .doc (Word) format, (2) USPS, (3)
fax. Images must be provided to us in either .jpg or
.gif format. Content provided by fax will require
additional charges due to having to retype data, or
the scanning of images.
-
Websites
that contain third party components such as trackers
or RSS feeds may cause loss of data or functionality
which may be caused by these features. We will not
be held liable for data loss or failure of the
website to properly function dues to any corruption
caused by the same. If changes are deemed to have
been caused by anything that is outside our control,
will be billed at our hourly rate.
-
If
the website contains code required to allow a
shopping cart to function such as authorize.net, and
their service requires changes to properly function,
our hourly rate will apply for changes under this
occurrence.
